About Us
Midwest Siamese Cat Rescue and TNR
Founded 2022, building on the legacy of the Siamese Cat Rescue Center, MSCR seeks to rescue and re-home Siamese cats at risk in Indiana and surrounding states.
MSCR is a group of dedicated volunteers who love Siamese and rescue them from shelters or at risk situations.
While the rescue was officially founded in February 2022, many of our volunteers have been previously involved with Siamese rescue and have extensive experience with the breed.
MSCR does not have a shelter but utilizes foster homes so each cat not only receives individual attention but the foster can learn each cat’s personality and quirks. This enables our Rescue to carefully match each cat with a suitable adopter.
Every cat adopted through MSCR has been carefully examined by a veterinarian, fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLeu and micro chipped. Older cats will have had blood work and dental cleanings as needed. Cats adopted through MSCR must be kept indoors and never declawed.
