SMUSHI, a Sable color Purebred AMERICAN BURMESE Female, 9 to 10 years old.  A BURMESE is a recognized breed, a mixture of a Siamese and American Short Hair with golden eyes. Rescued as a stray by a Good Samaritan in Indianapolis, this rare breed would be a wonderful addition to anyone’s family. They are a very affectionate breed, very loyal, very calm, low key and a very sophisticated, petite cat. They are described in books as “a brick wrapped in silk”. Their coat is amazingly silky, single coated, so a warm bed is always appreciated and sought out! SMUSHI has been vetted, and spayed, combo tested and microchipped. Although she loved baths, loves to snuggle once she gets to know you, has very good litter box habits, and falls asleep when getting a Mani-Pedi with her Good Samaritan, she has been very fearful since coming into Rescue. Her foster has been working with her daily to bring her out of her shell. Located in Northwest Indiana, her adopter must be able to pick her up in that area. ADOPTION FEE $350
