From time to time, we rescue unsocializable cats – not completely feral, but unsuitable to be indoor pets. Cats that might be more comfortable in a barn, stable or garden center. Cats that may even enjoy human companionship – at times – and from a distance.

Giving employment to a working cat provides a second chance for a homeless cat.  What you will be getting are experienced mousers, pest control managers and company for other farm animals.

All these working cats will require is –

  • Daily Food and Water
  • Protected Shelter
  • Vet Care, when needed
  • A Cozy Spot for a Nap
  • Freedom to Roam

Terms of Adoption

  • Containment in a sheltered environment for a minimum of 2-4 weeks in order to become familiar with location before allowing to roam.
  • Midwest Siamese Cat Rescue adopts only cats that have been spayed/neutered, vetted vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. 
  • Adoption Fees  – $50 to $75
